Today the Associated Press (AP) released a TV segment, “Busy Brides Use Online Wedding Services”, to be distributed globally, featuring Events Clique’s President, Kristin McClune, and Bridal Bar owner, Harmony Walton.

The segment which was in a series of 3 stories leading up to the Royal Wedding, discussed 2011 wedding trends and the drastic shift towards busy brides relying more than ever on the internet to find the best wedding services due to time constraints while planning for the big day.

“According to a survey done by Forbes Women, The Knot and Wedding Wire, 79% of engaged women have full time careers, so they don’t really have the time to go out and visit the many different venues and vendors, so they are turning to online resources and that’s not to mention the 89% of brides-to-be that actually plan their wedding during the workday,” said President of Events Clique, Kristin McClune.

To view the segment, stay tuned to your local news channel as the AP video segments are only released to news outlets globally.
